Our Commitment to Green Fulfilment: what are we doing to keep it clean?
At SCEND we’re making the most of the online revolution to reduce our unnecessary paper usage. We’re committed to a paperless warehouse system which allows us to use less paper when it comes to picking and packing. We use state-of-the-art technology connected to the cloud to reduce our need for unnecessary paper waste.
We’re always looking at ways to improve our processes by investing in technology. We’re constantly evolving to ensure we can help our clients, but when these investments can be greener too it's like getting a strike without the bumpers!

At SCEND we're committed to using less paper. That is just one of the reasons why we've invested in state-of-the-art technology to perfect our paperless pick-and-pack warehouse.
We're committed to using less packaging and more recycled and recyclable materials in our packages.
We're looking to implement recycling bins within both the office and the warehouse to encourage staff to follow the same commitment to sustainability.
Partnering with the right people: Keeping it green!
We’re not just committed to keeping our warehouses sustainable, we’re committed to working with people who share our green vision. We’ve changed packaging suppliers to Lil Packaging. Their commitment to reducing single-use plastic and only using fully recyclable materials perfectly aligns with our vision. And not just that they’re committed to making sure sustainability doesn’t impact security, the same great quality packaging with a much smaller environmental impact.
Choosing couriers isn’t just about speed, though that is certainly something we consider, it is also about matching our vision. That's why we use couriers who’re dedicated to reducing their environmental impact. DPD, Evri and Royal Mail all have big plans when it comes to reducing carbon emissions, with a fleet of electric vehicles and plans to be completely carbon neutral.
